Minnow lures looks like a real minnow and has a better swimming action than other soft plastic minnows that are on the market. This lure is made of tough salt water plastic and has plenty of action. This fact alone makes this lure a killer for hungry fish. You can fish this lure, cast and retrieve, single or double or under a popping cork. Use a slow to moderate retrieve, occasionally slowly lifting your rod. Keep your line tight and try to work the lure with the current. When fish strike, only a small change in line resistance may be felt, as the lure is scooped up rather than aggressively struck. Reel fish in with a steady retrieve and keep the slack out of your line. In the spring, this is an excellent lure to use for flounder, as they migrate into local inlets and hold up near potholes, shore reefs and grassy shorelines.
